Helo En Route To Crash With Multiple Ejections

Rescue teams were dispatched to the intersection of Woodland Ferry Road and Woodpecker Road in Seaford, just after 3:00 Friday afternoon. The crews were dispatched following reports of a traffic collision.

According to initial reports, the incident involved at least two passengers being ejected from a vehicle and two others were properly restrained.

Maryland State Police Aviation has dispatch Trooper 6, an emergency medical helicopter, to assist in the transportation of most serious passenger. The specifics regarding the number of individuals involved and the extent of their injuries remains unconfirmed at this early stage.

Authorities have closed the road to traffic to provide emergency services. Motorists are urged to seek alternative routes to avoid the area and to allow rescue crews to work efficiently.
