Man Robbed By Gunmen In Restaurant Parking Lot

Delaware State Police are conducting an investigation into an armed robbery that took place outside the Claymont Steak Shop on Concord Pike this past Friday.

Officials said that at 1:07 p.m. on November 3, troopers were dispatched to the scene where the crime occurred.

The preliminary investigation indicates that while the victim was seated in his vehicle in the eatery’s parking lot, he was approached by two armed suspects. Both individuals, identified as black males, brandished handguns and demanded money from the victim. Upon receiving an undisclosed sum, the suspects fled in a white vehicle.

A search was initiated by responding troopers, yet efforts to locate the suspects were unsuccessful police said. Authorities said both suspects were wearing in dark clothing but did not give a further description.

Delaware State Police are asking he public for any information related to the robbery and encourage witnesses or individuals with knowledge of the incident to contact them.
