The Dover Police Department is investigating a burglary at Taqueria El Cabrito that took place early Tuesday morning.
Police received a call at 9:52 a.m., prompting officers to respond to the scene located at 585 Forest Street in Dover, where they met with the victim.
The investigation showed that the incident occurred at approximately 12:15 a.m. A suspect described as a heavy-set black male dressed in a white t-shirt and gray sweatpants forcibly entered the restaurant by breaking the front glass according to police.
Once inside, the individual stole an undisclosed amount of money and fled the scene. The Dover Police is seeking information and encourages anyone with knowledge of the incident to come forward.
