Delaware State Police are investigating a crash that sent at least one person to the hospital Saturday morning
At approximately 3:34 AM, a vehicle went off the road and into the water at Shellpot Creek Bridge along I-495 southbound in Wilmington.
The exact number of occupants in the vehicle at the time of the crash is currently unknown. Emergency services responded and one individual was transported by ambulance to Christiana Hospital.
Authorities continue to investigate the incident.
