Sleeping Woman Run Over By Tractor Trailer

Dover – The death of a woman on Monday morning in the area of Conwell Street and College Road was caused by motor vehicle accident, according to M/Cpl. Mark Hoffman, Public Information Officer.

Hoffman said 58-year-old Pamela Guy, was killed when a tractor-trailer drove over her on Monday morning.  During the investigation, it was learned that Guy was known to drink heavily and often sleep in random spots in the neighborhood, according to Hoffman.

On Sunday, June 11th, Pamela Guy had been drinking heavily and helping the operator of the tractor-trailer wash his vehicle, said Hoffman.  Later that night, Guy came back to the area and fell asleep in front of the parked tractor-trailer.  When the operator (52-year-old male from Dover) left for work on Monday morning, the tractor-trailer ran over the victim, causing her death.
