Breaking – Just minutes ago Maryland Governor Lary Hogan said that the Maryland State at home order will be lifted on Friday at 5:00 pm. It’s not clear what implications Maryland’s reopening will have for Delaware. Maryland has spent 45 days under the order.
Retail stores in Maryland will be allowed to reopen with up to 50% capacity; manufacturing may resume operations; personal services like hair salons can reopen at up to 50% capacity by appointment only.
Houses of worship may hold religious services, with outside services being encouraged. Inside services can have services at 50% capacity following strick guidelines.
Hogan said that county leaders who do not feel comfortable entering Phase One will be able to delay when their municipalities ease restrictions.
Gatherings larger than 10 people remain prohibited.
