Happening Now: Rescue Underway North Of Brandywine Creek State Park

Rescue crews from the Talleyville, Brandywine Hundred, Hockessin and Elsmere Fire Companies, New Castle County Paramedics, Delaware State Police and Trooper 4 have responded to Ramsey Road and Creek Road, north of Brandywine Creek State Park, for reports of a tuber in distress.

First arriving Troopers have reported that the patient is in need of medical assistance.

Crews have made access to the patient who is about a mile from the nearest road.

At Around 2:20 pm Trooper 4 arrived on scene and is waiting for the crews to make their way to the landing zone.

Update: 2:44 pm, crews have arrived at the landing zone with the patient.  Early reports from the scene indicate that the patient flipped over in a tube and was then pulled from the water.
