On Tuesday afternoon, just before 2:50 PM, rescue crews responded to a 911 call originating from a victim that was in a car parked in front of the Cab Calloway School of the Arts, located at 100 N Dupont Road.
According to initial reports from the scene, a victim was shot while inside a vehicle in the vicinity of a nearby Dunkin Donuts. The victim was apparently shot by an assailant who was driving by.
Expect delays in the area of both the Dunkin Donuts and the school as police will be investigating. Police currently have the road closed in the area of the Dunkin Dounts.
