A rollover crash occurred on Route 1 northbound at the DuPont Parkway underpass in Townsend,
The incident occurred Tuesday, at approximately 12:03 PM, and led to the closure of one lane in both directions of Route 1 north of the DuPont Parkway overpass.
Paramedics were initially dispatched to the scene, along with Delaware State Police Aviation’s Trooper 4, but were later recalled after it was reported that the injuries involved were minor. Traffic impacts are ongoing, and drivers are advised to seek alternative routes if possible.
