Shooting Leaves Home Damaged In Dover

Dover Police are investigating a shooting that caused property damage late Wednesday night.

Officials said at approximately 10:38 p.m., officers responded to the area of South New Street and West Reed Street after receiving reports of gunfire.

Evidence at the scene confirmed that a shooting had taken place, and a home in the 300 block of West Reed Street was struck during the incident. Authorities noted that the residence was unoccupied at the time, and no injuries were reported. The investigation remains ongoing.
