UD Alerts Students To Suspicious Man On Campus

Newark – The University of Delaware Police sent out an alert to students and staff alerting them to a  suspicious man that was following a student early this morning.

The Newark and University Police are investigating the report of a suspicious male.

He was seen operating a maroon SUV on Wyoming Rd., and followed a female student to the area of Gilbert Hall.

He then exited the vehicle and continued following her on foot. He is described as a white male, wearing blue jeans and a long sleeved white shirt, with a black hat turned backwards. Members of our community are reminded to be vigilant.

If you see something, say something. Be sure to lock your doors and secure first floor windows. Call 911 to report suspicious activity. We will update as more information becomes available.
