Two Upstanding Citizens Rob A 7-11, An Employee And Point A Gun At Woman?

Dover – The Dover Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that occurred early Friday, December 16th, 2016, at the 7-11 located in the Hamlet Shopping Center, according to Mark Hoffman, Public Information Officer for the Dover Police Department.

Hoffman said that at approximately 1:49 a.m., officers responded to the 7-11, located at 1019 Walker Road in Dover, and learned that a 32-year-old male employee was robbed by two male suspects. Police said that the suspects entered the store with firearms and demanded cash.  After allegedly removing an undisclosed amount of cash from the register, one of the suspects then took money from the employee as well, according to Hoffman.

Hoffman said Both suspects were wearing disguises at the time of the incident.  In addition to the employee, a female customer was in the store at the time and a suspect allegedly pointed a gun at her as well.  No physical injuries resulted from the incident.
