Man In Critical After Being Found With A Gunshot To His Neck

Wilmington – On Sunday, 10 December 2017, at approximately 6:00 am, Wilmington Police were summoned to the 200 block of N. Rodney Street with regard to a 911 call for a shooting victim.

Upon the officers arrival, they located a 46-year-old male subject lying on the sidewalk, who was suffering from a single gunshot wound to his neck.

The victim was treated on scene by New Castle County paramedics, then he was transported via ambulance to the Christiana Hospital where he underwent surgery and is currently listed in Critical Condition.
