Dover – The Delaware State Police are currently investigating a shooting that occurred earlier this morning in the Dover area, according to Public Information Officer, Master Corporal Melissa Jaffe.

Jaffe said the preliminary investigation has determined that the incident occurred on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at approximately 2:17 a.m. when Troopers were dispatched to the unit block of Headstart Lane in reference to a shooting.

Further investigation revealed that a 19-year-old male of Felton had left a party at a residence on Headstart Lane with his friends.
