Food Lion to open its newest location in Newark on Wednesday, February 27, 2019.
After years of sitting vacant, the old Super Fresh location in Newark’s Fairfield Shopping Center is fully refurbished, fully stocked, except for produce, and will open as the new Food Lion next week.
The new shopping carts have been delivered, the signs went up a couple of weeks ago, and the staff has been working to get the store ready for its 8:00 am opening.
