Just In: Vehicle Into A Tree At High Speed In Townsend, Helo Dispatched

Townend – At 6:43 this evening rescue crews from the Townsend Fire Company along with New Castle County Paramedics and Trooper 4 responded to 180 Paddock Road for reports of a high-velocity crash into a tree.

Details are few at this early stage. We do know that one person has been transported via medivac helicopter to the Trauma Center at Christiana Hospital.

A review of the audio archives did not provide additional details regarding the patient’s injuries.
