File

New Castle County Police are investigating what they are calling the “suspicious deaths” of two in the Talleyville-Area.

Yesterday, Saturday, November 13, the Talleyville Fire Company responded to the300 block of Cleveland Avenue in the community of McDaniel Crest at around 3:20 in the afternoon.

New Castle County Police also responded to the scene for a check on the welfare complaint, after receiving a 911 call regarding mail that was piling up on the front doorstep.

Upon arrival to the scene, patrol officers found all of the doors and windows secured. Authorities then forced entry into the residence where two people were found deceased.

Police have not said why they consider the deaths suspicious, however, a spokesman for the police said that during the initial investigation detectives determined that there is no danger to the public.
