“Delivery Driver” In Critical Condition After Being Shot

The Wilmington Police Department is actively investigating a shooting incident that occurred at approximately 6:02 p.m. on Sunday evening, in the 1200 block of West 8th Street.

The individual who was shot, a 22-year-old male, reportedly a delivery driver, fled to the nearby Liberty gas station on 4th Street in Wilmington after the incident. Emergency response teams arrived at the gas station and transported the victim to the hospital, where he remains in critical condition.

Law enforcement responded to the scene immediately, launching a search of the area to locate the shooter. However, as of the latest available information, it remains unclear whether any arrests have been made in connection with this incident.
