Reports: Woman Crushed Between School Busses Thursday Morning

Just before 7:00, Thursday morning, emergency crews responded to Gauger-Cobbs Middle School in Newark following a serious accident that reportedly left one woman critically injured.

According to dispatch reports, the woman became trapped between two buses in the school’s parking area. Responding agencies included Aetna Hose, Hook & Ladder Company, New Castle County Paramedics and police officers.

Rescuers worked quickly to free the trapped woman, who was transported to Christiana Hospital’s Emergency Department in Stanton in critical condition.
