Rollover Crash Sends Teen To Hospital Thursday Morning

Emergency crews responded early Thursday morning to a rollover crash at the intersection of Lancaster Pike and Centerville Road in Wilmington. The incident occurred at approximately 6:24 a.m., bringing a multi-agency response that included Cranston Heights Fire Company, New Castle County Paramedics, and Delaware State Police.

Upon arrival, first responders located a vehicle that had overturned before landing back on its wheels according to initial reports from the scene. One teenager sustained injuries and was transported by ambulance to Christiana Hospital in Stanton for evaluation and treatment. A second teen was assessed at the scene and declined medical transport.

Traffic in the area was temporarily disrupted while emergency crews worked to secure the scene and remove the vehicle. The Delaware State Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
