California Woman Robbed At Gunpoint At Wilmington Wawa

Wilmington (19810) – Delaware State Police are investigating an armed robbery that took place in the parking lot of a Naaman’s Road Wawa yesterday afternoon, according to Public Information Officer, Master Corporal Michael Austin.

Austin said the incident occurred at approximately 4:07 p.m., Sunday, January 21, 2018, in the parking lot of the Wawa, located at 3452 Naaman’s Road, Wilmington. A 24-year-old Suisun City, California woman, was walking through the rear parking lot of the Wawa when she was approached by a black male suspect who displayed a black handgun and then snatched her wallet out of her hand, according to Austin. After obtaining the wallet, which contained an undisclosed amount of cash and personal items, the suspect fled the scene in a four-door, dark-colored vehicle. The victim was not injured as a result of the incident.

The suspect is described as a black male, 22-25 years of age, 6’0”, 160-170 lbs, wearing all dark clothing and in possession of a black handgun.
