Magnolia – Rescue crews are responding to Route 1 SB at Barkers Landing Bridge for a motor vehicle accident involving a motorcycle.
Troopers arriving on scene have shut down all lanes of Route 1 SB.
Good Samaritans and what appears to be an offduty first responded are assisting the patient.
Update: First arriving crews have canceled Trooper 2. The patient will be transported to the hospital via ground.
Update: Crews on scene are now reporting a second accident in the same area in the northbound lanes.
Update: Crews are reporting that they are trying to open one lane of Route 1 SB.
Update: The roadway has been reopened.
