Early Morning Crash in Newark Sends Two To Hospital

Newark – Just before 8:00 this morning rescue crews from Aetna Hose, Hook, and Ladder, along with crews from the Christiana Fire Company and Delaware State Troopers responded to the intersection of Otts Chapel Road and Welsh Tract Road for reports of a vehicle accident with multiple patients.

Upon arrival, crews found two vehicles, both with heavy front-end damage and two patients in need of care. EMT’s from Aetna’s A-9 and A-7 treated the patients on scene before transporting both to Christiana Hospital with what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.
