MOT All-Stars Headed To Little League World Series Mid-Atlantic Regionals

The Delaware State Champs, MOT All-Stars baseball team, had an unforgettable send-off parade this morning, Friday, August 4, 2023, at the Middletown Fire Department.

The community came together to show their support for these talented young athletes as they embark on a journey to showcase their skills and sportsmanship at the upcoming Little League World Series Mid-Atlantic Regionals.

The parade had an escort by police, fire trucks, and bucket trucks proudly leading the young athletes out of town.

The MOT All-Stars are not one but two exceptional teams. First, they have the Majors team, composed of 11 and 12-year-olds, who will be competing in Bristol, Connecticut. The second team consists of 8, 9, and 10-year-olds, heading to Rhode Island.

The Majors team secured their spot in the Little League World Series Mid-Atlantic Regionals after a victory over Naamans with a score of 10-2.

As they bid farewell to their home turf, the MOT Majors Little League State Champs are brimming with enthusiasm and determination. Their journey will begin on Sunday, August 6th, at 1 pm when they take on Washington DC in their first game in Bristol. This regional tournament promises to be an exhilarating experience, with teams from across the Mid-Atlantic vying for a chance to move on to the esteemed Little League World Series.

Notably, the regional games will be broadcasted on ESPN+ and ESPN, allowing fans, friends, and family back home to cheer for their favorite team from afar. It’s an opportunity for the MOT All-Stars to shine on a national stage, and they are determined to make their community proud.
