Newark – Just before 1:00 this afternoon Newark Police responded to Casho Mill Road at the train bridge for reports of a box truck into the bridge. Upon arrival officers found a U-Haul moving truck stuck under the bridge.
Attempts to remove the truck from under the bridge are being complicated by a broken axle. Police have called for a tow truck to help with the removal.
No injuries have been reported.
Casho Mill road remains closed with police work the scene. Avoid the area.
