Three In Critical Condition After Being Struck By Hit-And_Run Driver

Wilmington Police are actively investigating a motor vehicle collision involving pedestrians that occurred early Saturday morning. Officials said at approximately 2:02 a.m., officers responded to the 1600 block of Delaware Avenue, where three pedestrians were struck by a vehicle that fled the scene immediately following the incident.

Upon arrival, police located three victims: a 33-year-old woman, a 35-year-old woman, and a 36-year-old woman. All three individuals sustained serious injuries and were transported to a local hospital, where they were listed in critical condition.e.

The driver of the vehicle involved in the collision failed to stop and fled the area. Wilmington Police are treating the matter as a hit-and-run and have launched an investigation led by the Special Operations Division/Traffic Unit.
