Wilmington Police are currently investigating a shooting that took place around 3:15 p.m. in the 700 block of North Adams Street on Sunday.
Upon their arrival at the scene, officers discovered a 27-year-old male suffering from gunshot wounds. Emergency medical services attended to the victim, who was then transported to the hospital. At the time of admission, he was reported to be in stable condition.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting are still under thorough examination. Wilmington Police have urged to come forward with any information that could assist in the ongoing investigation.
